Planning and Concept Development
Helping clients think through goals, users, site needs, possibilities, and project priorities early.
About Us
Hi, we're Park Planet.
An outdoor recreation partner for schools, parks, municipalities, and communities across California, Arizona, and Iowa.
Philosophy
Every project starts with people.
Who will use the space? How will they use it? What needs to work today and years from now?
Park Planet brings practical experience, product knowledge, and close collaboration to those questions. We do not believe in one size fits all solutions. We listen first, understand the site and the goals, and help clients create outdoor environments that make sense for the people who will actually use them.
That approach has guided our work for more than 25 years and continues to shape every playground, shade structure, recreation space, and community project we take on.

Our Impact
Spaces that keep serving communities.
Outdoor spaces shape how communities gather, play, move, and spend time together. That is why we think beyond the equipment itself. We consider how a space will feel, who will be able to use it, how comfortable it will be throughout the day, and how it can continue serving the community for years to come.

Our Mission
Spaces people want to use.
Park Planet helps communities create outdoor spaces that invite people to play, move, gather, and connect through thoughtful planning, durable solutions, and responsive project support.
Comfort, Durability, and Stewardship
Cooler, more usable outdoor spaces.
Shade makes campuses and parks usable in the heat. Thoughtful playgrounds and furnishings encourage people to gather outside. We prioritize durability and accessibility so spaces last through heavy use and stay inviting season after season.
History
25+ years of experience
Turning outdoor ideas into everyday places.
For more than 25 years, Park Planet has helped schools, parks, cities, and communities turn outdoor ideas into places people use every day.
What began with a focus on outdoor recreation has grown into a broader portfolio of commercial playgrounds, shade and shelter structures, sports equipment, site furnishings, custom design, and project support. Along the way, California school campuses and DSA projects have also become an important part of our expertise.
Today, Park Planet serves communities across California, Arizona, and Iowa while maintaining the responsive, personal approach that has been part of the company from the beginning.
