Rebuilding Play After the Park Wore Out

Challenge

The existing play structure had served the neighborhood for years, but parts were failing, the surfacing no longer met current expectations, and the layout left little shade or seating for caregivers.

Result

The rebuilt playground brought families back. Durable commercial equipment and a clearer site plan gave the city a park that will serve the next generation without looking like a compromise.
